Mr Theo Sdralis

Dr Theo Sdralis is a fully qualified Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon (Otolaryngologist).  He has experience in the diagnosis and management of medical and surgical diseases of the ears, nose, throat and head and neck in both adults and children.

Theo has a subspeciality interest in paediatric ENT.  Theo’s expertise in paediatric ENT allows him to treat children of all ages with ear infections and hearing loss, tonsillitis, snoring, sleep apnoea and blocked noses.  As a parent, Theo understands the importance of children obtaining optimal health and wellbeing to help them through their journey to adulthood.

Theo has spent up to 15 years training to become an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon and is committed to giving the best patient care to both adults and children.

Theo enjoys spending time with his family, watching nature documentaries and has an interest in astronomy.

Mr Theo Sdralis was born and educated in Melbourne, Victoria. He graduated in Medicine from The University of Melbourne in 1987. From 1988 – 1999 he undertook a further 12 years of post-graduate study. During this time he was trained by the leading sinus expert in the world, Professor PJ Wormald and also undertook advanced training in paediatric ENT.

In 2000 he qualified as an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon and became a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Mr Sdralis is a Senior Consultant at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital. Because of his senior position and experience, Theo provides surgical training to junior surgeons.

Theo was the Head of Sinus Surgery at both the Royal Children’s Hospital (9 years) and Monash Medical Centre (5 years).  He currently has specialist appointments at St Vincent’s Private Hospital (East Melbourne) and The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.  He consults privately in Doncaster, Camberwell, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Cranbourne and Ivanhoe.
